The Walford Village Hall Committee warmly invites all residents to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, 28th November 2025, at 7pm in the Village Hall. This yearly event is an important opportunity for everyone in our community to come together, reflect on the past year\u2019s achievements, and look ahead to the future of our much-loved Village Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The AGM is open to everyone, whether you\u2019re a regular hall user, a volunteer, or simply interested in what goes on behind the scenes. It\u2019s your chance to hear updates on recent improvements, upcoming plans, and the ways in which the Village Hall continues to serve as a hub for local life \u2014 from social events and classes to community groups and private celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A key item on this year\u2019s agenda will be the proposed adoption of our new constitution. This updated document aims to strengthen how the committee operates and ensure that the Hall continues to be managed in the best interests of the whole community. Copies of the proposed constitution are available on request for anyone who would like to review it before the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019d also love to hear your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions for future events or projects. The Village Hall thrives because of the time, energy, and enthusiasm of local people \u2014 and your input really does make a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
